8/31 @ 5 – History at the Hall: Native American Archaeology in CT

The Institute for American Indian Studies Museum of Washington, CT visits Friday, August 31, at 5 pm to present on how, through archaeology, they are able to build new understandings of the world and history of Native Americans. IAIS has surveyed or excavated over 500 sites, including the remarkable discovery of a 10,000-year-old camp site-the earliest known archaeological site in Connecticut. Craig Nelson and Dr. Lucianne Lavin will be the speakers. The lecture will take place at the Sharon Town Hall,  2nd floor Chapin Meeting Hall.
