On Saturday, April 13 the Sharon Historical Society welcomes it’s members to our annual meeting. Join us at Sharon Town Hall, 2nd Fl. Chapin Meeting Room at 10 am to hear about the exciting things the Society has in store for the upcoming year, and the accomplishments of the past year. Immediately following the meeting, at 10:30 am, Susan Shepard will be giving a presentation on the 18th Century smallpox epidemic in Sharon, and the early medical societies formed here that led the nation in professionalizing the practice of medicine. The talk is free and open to the public.
