You’re invited to attend the one and only live cake auction held in Litchfield County – and it will be held right around the corner in Sharon, CT. On Friday July 3, the Sharon Historical Society museum will host the beloved fund raising event, “Let Them Eat Cake” live cake auction and cocktail party.
Held under the white tent on the grounds of the Historical Society at 18 Main Street in Sharon, guests to the party and auction will enjoy plentiful tasty hors d’oeurves and an open bar, and have the opportunity to bid on cakes designed, baked and donated by you, your friends and neighbors.
Competition for the aesthetically pleasing and delicious cakes will be fierce as guests peruse our cake auction catalog featuring an array of baked delicacies.
Past events have been enormously popular, with the cake auction alone raising nearly $3000; not to mention the fun of laugh-out-loud bidding “wars” and much friendly goading from the sidelines!
Tickets to the party are $40 per person in advance, and $50 at the door. Call 860-364-5688 or e-mail email@example.com for information or reservations. Tickets can be paid for by check, a credit card over the phone or this page on our website:
As in years past, this event is catered by The Sharon Day Care Center and proceeds from the party support the activities of both the Center and the Historical Society.
The Historical Society would like to thank the following sponsors for this event:
Perotti and Sons, Sharon Pharmacy, Classic Renovations and Blue Wing Studios.
