Deserters in Print: When Patriots Walked Away
Please join us Saturday, September 19th at 2PM for a lecture and discussion with Dana Meyer.
Dana J. Meyer is a historian whose research focuses on desertion and military service in Connecticut during the American Revolution. His work combines Revolutionary-era newspapers, military records, and digital methods to examine patterns of desertion and what these sources reveal about the military and social dimensions of wartime service, including the experiences and representation of people of color in Connecticut’s Revolutionary forces.
