The Sharon Historical Society & Museum is pleased to announce the opening of the next exhibit in Gallery SHS, photographs on the theme of “Water” from the Housatonic Camera Club, on exhibit from September 2, 2023, until October 13, 2023. The public is invited to attend the artists’ opening reception on Saturday, September 2, 2023, from 5-7PM. Come enjoy select photographs from members of this venerable group who present their meditations on that ever-changing element of the landscape, water. We are particularly happy to host this exhibition at the Sharon Historical Society and Museum as it houses the splendid archive of photographs by Fran Kelsey, a founding member and one time president of the Camera Club. Most of the photographs from this exhibition will be available for purchase. A portion of all purchase proceeds will support the Sharon Historical Society & Museum’s mission.
